S&P and Nasdaq Futures Up, Nvidia and Bank Earnings Eyed

On Tuesday, S&P 500 futures edged up by 0.4%, while Nasdaq 100 futures increased by 0.6%. Meanwhile, Dow Jones contracts showed little movement, following slight gains observed in the session prior. Nvidia's shares surged over 4% in premarket trading after revealing plans to restart sales of its popular H20 AI chip to China. The company secured assurances from Washington that these shipments would gain approval. Investors are now directing their attention towards the forthcoming US Consumer Price Index (CPI) report and the beginning of the corporate earnings season. JPMorgan Chase shares climbed approximately 0.5% in the premarket after the bank announced earnings and revenue surpassing predictions. Similarly, Citigroup shares were up by 0.9% ahead of its anticipated results. Conversely, Wells Fargo experienced a decline, with shares dropping by 1.2% before the market opened, following a downward adjustment in its full-year net interest income forecast.
