Residential property prices in Ireland saw a year-on-year increase of 7.9% in May 2025, up from a revised 7.6% growth in April. Nationally, house prices experienced an 8.0% rise, slightly higher than the previous month's 7.9%, while apartment prices increased by 7.0%, improving from a 6.3% rise in April. Regionally, Dublin recorded a 6.9% growth in property prices, compared to a 6.5% increase in April. Elsewhere in the country, prices also showed strength with an 8.7% uptick, marginally up from the 8.6% recorded the month before. On a monthly scale, there was a 0.6% increase in residential property prices in May, marking the third consecutive monthly gain, following a 0.5% uptick in April.
