In June 2025, Georgia experienced a year-on-year rise of 3% in producer prices, a deceleration from the 4.9% increase observed in May. This represents the slowest rate of producer price inflation since February 2024. The moderation in price growth was particularly evident in the manufacturing sector, which rose by 1.6% compared to 3.2% in May. Similarly, the sectors of electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply saw an increase of 8.3%, down from 13.8% previously, while water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation services edged up by just 0.1%, compared to 0.4% the month before. Conversely, costs in the mining and quarrying sector saw a slight uptick, climbing to 13.8% from 13.3%. On a month-to-month basis, producer prices rose by 0.4% in June, recovering from a 0.5% decline recorded in the prior period.
