In June 2025, Morocco's annual inflation rate remained consistent at 0.4%, maintaining the one-year low recorded in May. There was a noticeable acceleration in price growth for food and non-alcoholic beverages, with rates increasing to 0.8% from 0.4% in the previous month. In contrast, the decline in transport costs diminished slightly, with a decrease of 3.4% compared to 4.3% in May. Inflation figures stayed stable across other sectors: furnishings (0.4%), clothing and footwear (0.7%), healthcare (0.2%), and education (2.3%). Slight reductions in inflation were observed in the categories of alcoholic beverages and tobacco (3.4% down from 3.5%), housing and utilities (a decrease to 0.6% from 2.1%), restaurants and hotels (3.8% down from 3.9%), and miscellaneous goods and services (1.4% from 1.5%). On a month-to-month basis, consumer prices rose by 0.4% in June, marking a recovery from May's 4.0% decrease.
