In June 2025, Mexico's unemployment rate slightly decreased to 2.7%, down from 2.8% recorded in the previous month. This marks the lowest unemployment level since 2002, matching figures seen two years prior, indicating a relatively strong labor market in Mexico. Over the past year, unemployment numbers dropped by 21,091, totaling 1,661,477 people. Meanwhile, net employment increased by 1,219,579, reaching a total of 60,169,565 employed individuals.
