In June 2025, Spain experienced a decline in consumer confidence, which dropped by 6.4 points to a level of 76.1—the lowest since October 2023—down from 82.5 in May. This downturn was attributed to increasingly pessimistic views regarding both the prevailing economic situation (75.6 compared to 78.4 in May) and household expectations (76.7 compared to 86.5). When observed on an annual basis, consumer confidence saw a decrease of 12.3 points, falling to 76.1 from 88.4 in June 2024.
