FX.co ★ Estonia Industrial Output Growth Accelerates in June

In June 2025, Estonia experienced a notable acceleration in industrial production, increasing by 2.9% compared to the same month in the previous year. This follows a revised increase of 0.4% in May. The surge was primarily driven by robust growth in the manufacturing sector, which expanded by 5.9% compared to 0.7% in May. Significant growth was recorded in specific areas such as grain mill products, starches and starch products, which soared by 13.2% compared to 3.6% previously, prepared animal feeds, which jumped by 21.5% from the earlier 10.1%, and beverage production, which increased by 18.2% after a previous decline of 1.4%. Conversely, the mining and quarrying sector continued to shrink, with a contraction of 33.5% compared to a 19.7% decrease in the previous month. Additionally, the production in electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply dropped by 8.9%, in contrast to a previous increase of 6.9%. On a month-to-month basis, industrial production slightly decreased by 0.5% in June, following an upwardly revised decline of 1% in the preceding month.
