In June 2025, Finland reported a current account surplus of EUR 1,231 million, marking a reduction from EUR 1,573 million recorded during the same month in the previous year. This contraction was largely attributed to a decrease in the goods account surplus, which dropped to EUR 1,196 million from the prior figure of EUR 1,558 million. Meanwhile, the services account deficit increased significantly, widening to EUR 651 million from EUR 393 million. The secondary income deficit also expanded, rising to EUR 220 million compared to EUR 174 million the year before. Conversely, the primary income surplus saw growth, reaching EUR 906 million, up from EUR 582 million in the equivalent period last year.
