In July 2025, Finland's annual inflation rate remained steady at 0.2%, maintaining its lowest level since December 2020. There was a moderation in price increases for several categories: health services saw a decrease from 7.33% in June to 6.85%, furnishings and household maintenance fell from 2.22% to 1.71%, recreation and culture slightly dropped from 3.14% to 3.10%, and restaurants and hotels reduced from 1.65% to 1.26%. Conversely, costs for housing and utilities experienced a larger decline, moving from -3.46% to -3.53%, as did the prices of miscellaneous goods and services, which fell from -1.09% to -1.73%. In contrast, price growth picked up in certain areas, with food and non-alcoholic beverages increasing from 2.2% to 3.07%, and communication rising slightly from 5.78% to 5.81%. On a monthly scale, consumer prices experienced a rise of 0.2%, recovering from a 0.2% decline observed in June.
