In July 2025, Kyrgyzstan experienced an 11.6% year-on-year increase in industrial production, building on a 10.6% rise observed in June. This growth was largely fueled by a substantial upswing in the mining and quarrying sector, which skyrocketed by 40.7% following a 12.4% increase the previous month. However, there was a slowdown in output growth within the manufacturing industry, which recorded a growth rate of 7.6% compared to 9.2% in June. Similarly, the sectors providing electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning saw growth ease to 13.9% from 15.8%, and the water supply sector also experienced a dip, growing by 31.0% compared to 35.0%. Over the first seven months of the year, industrial production was up by 11.3% compared to the corresponding period in the previous year.
