In June 2025, Serbia saw a 2.0% increase year-on-year in the issuance of building permits, reaching a total of 2,402. Of these permits, a significant 83.8% were designated for building projects, while the remaining 16.2% were allocated for civil engineering constructions. Within the building category, 82.0% of the permits were for residential buildings and 18.0% for non-residential structures. In the realm of civil engineering, the majority (65.7%) were intended for pipelines, communication lines, and electric power lines. Furthermore, new construction projects represented 88.7% of the total anticipated value of all works.
