Kazakhstan's economy surged by 6.2% year-on-year for the period from January to June 2025, marking the most rapid growth rate since 2011 and up from 5.6% in the first quarter. The production of goods increased by 8.0%, fueled by robust growth in sectors such as mining (8.4%), manufacturing (5.5%), and construction (18.4%). Concurrently, the services sector expanded by 5.2%, with notable contributions from wholesale and retail trade, which encompasses motor vehicle and motorcycle repairs (8.4%), transport and logistics (22.7%), education (2.5%), financial and insurance activities (1.7%), and real estate services (1.4%).
