In June 2025, Peru experienced a 4.52% increase in its GDP on an annual basis, up from 2.67% in May, though slightly below the anticipated 4.7% growth. This development represents the 15th consecutive period of economic expansion. Notably, the mining and hydrocarbons sectors resumed growth (1.01% compared to a decline of -6.92% in May), while there was a significant acceleration in manufacturing (7.26% compared to 2.44%) and construction (9.57% compared to 6.04%). Meanwhile, growth in agriculture showed a slight deceleration (8.76% compared to 9.26%), and growth in the transportation sector also slowed (4.24% compared to 5.70%). Additionally, the lodging and restaurant sector shifted from growth to contraction (-3.27% compared to 5.07%), while the commerce sector remained stable (3.14% compared to 3.10%). However, the seasonally adjusted national production index recorded a decrease of 0.21% compared to the previous month.
