In June 2025, Moldova experienced a 3.2% year-on-year increase in its industrial production, following a more robust 11.7% growth in the previous month. This represents the fourth consecutive month of industrial growth, albeit at a moderated rate. Output growth decelerated within the manufacturing sector, which saw a rise of 2.4% compared to 12.4% in May, as well as in the sectors of electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply, which reported a growth of 4.2% down from 7.2%. Conversely, the mining sector experienced a surge in growth, with production expanding by 26.7%, up significantly from 4.4% in May. On a monthly basis, however, total industrial production declined by 4.5% in June, overturning the previous period's downwardly revised 2.0% increase.
