This monthly uptick was attributed to a 10.1 percentage point increase in current order volumes, a 3.3 percentage point reduction in inventory levels, and a 1.9 percentage point improvement in production expectations for the forthcoming quarter. Comparing year-on-year figures, the ICI advanced by 7.9 percentage points from a previous -1.2 in July 2024, indicating a resurgence in business confidence.
