In July 2025, North Macedonia experienced a 4.1% year-on-year increase in industrial production, an improvement from the 0.5% rise observed in the previous month. The manufacturing sector showed robust growth with output rising by 7.0%, up from 2.1% in June. Meanwhile, the decline in production for electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply moderated, shrinking by 7.5% compared to a 29.3% drop earlier. Conversely, the mining and quarrying sector saw a downturn, with output decreasing by 10.4%, contrasting with a 6.9% increase in the prior month. Cumulatively, over the first seven months of the year, industrial output was 3% higher than during the same period in the previous year.
