According to preliminary data, Croatia's annual inflation rate held steady at 4.1% in August 2025, matching the previous month's figure and marking the highest level since March 2024. This sustained rate was primarily fueled by increased costs in categories such as food, beverages, and tobacco (6.2%), services (6.4%), energy (2.5%), and non-food industrial goods excluding energy (0.5%). On a month-to-month basis, consumer prices experienced a modest rise of 0.1% in August, a slowdown from the 0.4% increase seen in July.
