In the second quarter of 2025, North Macedonia witnessed a decline in its unemployment rate, which fell to a record low of 11.5%, compared to 12.5% during the same period in the previous year. This notable decrease was reflected in the reduction of unemployed individuals by 7,000, bringing the total number to 91,400. Concurrently, employment levels showed a slight increase, with the employment rate inching up to 52.2% from 52.1%. The total number of employed persons climbed by 9,600, reaching a total of 701,400. Additionally, the labor force participation rate saw an improvement, rising to 46.2% from the previous year's 45.6%.
