In August 2025, Angola's annual inflation rate dropped to 18.88%, marking its lowest point since November 2023. This represents a decrease from July's rate of 19.48% and continues the downward trend observed since August 2024. Contributing factors to this decline include the relative stability of the kwanza and an improved availability of goods, both helping to alleviate inflationary pressures. On a monthly basis, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 1.09% in August, following a 1.47% rise in the previous month.
