The Swedish industry's total order volume experienced a 1.4% year-on-year decline in July 2025, in contrast to a revised 0.9% increase recorded in June. This downturn was primarily due to a decrease in domestic demand orders, which fell by 1.3% compared to a 6% increase the previous month. Simultaneously, foreign orders also decreased by 1.4%, although this marked an improvement compared to the 1.7% decline noted earlier. On a seasonally adjusted basis, new orders saw a monthly drop of 2.4%, showing a slight improvement from the 2.6% decrease observed in the prior period.
