Ireland Industrial Output Hits 7-Month Low

In July 2025, Ireland witnessed a 10.3% year-on-year increase in industrial production, down from a revised 11.2% growth noted the previous month. This represents the slowest expansion since December 2024. The output in manufacturing industries saw a deceleration to 8.2%, compared to 10% in June. Similarly, output in the electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning sectors slipped to 13.2%, down from 14.5%, while transportable goods recorded a 10.4% increase, a decline from the 11.1% observed previously. Month-on-month, industrial production rose by 1.5% in July, bouncing back from a revised steep fall of 12.3% in June.
