Conversely, there was a deceleration in domestic construction, which edged down to 7.8% from 8.2%, and in repair and maintenance work, which significantly declined to 1.8% from 15.8%. Moreover, engineering works saw a complete halt in growth, maintaining a 0% change compared to the previous 9.5% growth. On a monthly basis, adjusted for seasonal variations, construction output dipped by 1.4% in July.
