Turkey Consumer Confidence Falls in September

In September 2025, Turkey's consumer confidence index saw a slight decline, registering at 83.9 compared to 84.3 the previous month. Households expressed a less favorable view of their current financial circumstances, with the index decreasing to 67.8 from 70.0 in August. Similarly, their expectations regarding the general economic situation for the coming year dipped slightly to 78.0 from 78.4. On a more positive note, there was a modest improvement in consumers' expectations concerning their personal financial situation for the year ahead, rising to 84.0 from 83.8. Additionally, optimism regarding spending on durable goods over the next 12 months increased to 105.7 from 104.8.
