Norway House Prices Up 0.4% MoM in September

In September 2025, Norway witnessed a 0.4% rise in house prices compared to August, which had a 0.6% increase. By the end of the month, the average home price stood at NOK 4,993,572. A total of 11,142 homes were sold during September, marking a 9.3% rise from the same period the previous year. Homes typically remained on the market for 46 days before selling, an improvement from August's 49-day average. Among Norwegian cities, Bergen and Stavanger experienced the fastest sales with an average of 19 days on the market, while Fredrikstad/Sarpsborg saw the slowest at 87 days. Regionally, Porsgrunn/Skien exhibited the most robust price growth, advancing by 2.1%, whereas Tromsø experienced a slight decline of 0.1%. On an annual basis, house prices increased by 5.5% in September, maintaining the growth rate observed in August.
