In August 2025, Spain experienced a significant rise in industrial production, increasing by 3.4% year-on-year. This marks the most substantial annual growth since March 2023, building on a revised 2.7% increase in July. The largest advances were seen in capital goods (4.9%), non-durable consumer goods (4.4%), and energy (3.7%), while intermediate goods experienced a modest 0.4% rise. However, the production of durable consumer goods fell by 1.1%, the only annual decrease recorded. Regionally, Andalusia (8.4%) and Castile and León (3.5%) led with the highest growth. On a monthly comparison, Spain's industrial production dropped slightly by 0.1% from July.
