In September 2025, the Czech Republic's foreign exchange reserves saw an increase, reaching $169.4 billion, up from a revised $166.2 billion in August. This level is the highest since March 2022, largely due to a rise in foreign currency reserves, which grew to $156 billion, compared to $153.3 billion the previous month. Gold reserves also surged to $8.2 billion from $7.2 billion. Furthermore, there were slight increments in the IMF reserve position, which nudged up to $0.774 billion from $0.773 billion, and in Special Drawing Rights (SDRs), which increased to $3.522 billion from $3.521 billion. Conversely, other reserve assets saw a decline, reducing to $0.90 billion in September from $1.5 billion in August.
