BSE SENSEX Closes Higher

The BSE Sensex saw a 0.7% increase on Wednesday, closing at 82,605, breaking a three-session losing streak. Similarly, the Nifty 50 climbed 0.7% to reach 25,324, marking its highest point in approximately a month. Leading the charge were non-bank financial stocks, with Bajaj Finance surging 4.1% and Bajaj Finserv climbing 3.1%. Nestlé India also rose by 4%, with HDFC Life Insurance advancing 2.5% ahead of its earnings announcement. Conversely, ICICI Prudential fell by 1.4% following quarterly results that failed to meet investor expectations. The auto sector relinquished initial gains, as Tata Motors declined by 0.9% and Maruti slipped by 0.3%.
