Slovenia Producer Inflation Slows in September

In September 2025, Slovenia experienced a slight decrease in annual producer inflation, which eased to 0.7%, down from 0.9% in August. This deceleration was primarily attributed to a reduction in prices within the mining and quarrying sector, which saw a drop to 7.5% compared to 8.3% the month before. Additionally, there was a notable decline in costs for electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply, which fell to -8.1% from the previous -4%. Conversely, producer inflation in the manufacturing sector held steady at 1%, as did water supply at 5.4%. On a monthly scale, producer prices decreased by 0.2% in September, reversing the trend observed in the prior period.
