In September, Taiwan's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate held steady at 3.35%, mirroring the rate from August and continuing at its highest point since April. The number of individuals without jobs decreased by 8,000 from the previous month, totaling 407,000, while employment figures dropped by 11,000, reaching 11.63 million. The unemployment rate for young adults, specifically those aged 20 to 24, decreased to 12.01% from 12.08% in August, which was the highest in eleven months. Concurrently, the labor force participation rate slightly declined to 59.51% from 59.58% in August.
