In September 2025, Bosnia and Herzegovina experienced a 1.9% year-on-year decrease in industrial production, a deceleration from the 4.6% decline observed in August. This represented the third consecutive month of downturn albeit the mildest in this series, as output contractions eased for intermediate goods (-0.5% from -1.1% in August), energy (-1.3% from -11.8%), and consumer durable goods (-28.4% from -31.5%). However, the growth in capital goods production slowed (4.1% compared to 6.1%), and there was further contraction in the production of consumer non-durable goods (-8.7% down from -4.5%). On a monthly basis, adjusted for seasonal variations, industrial output increased by 2.4% in September, bouncing back from a 3.3% decline recorded in the previous month.
