FX.co ★ Morocco Jobless Rate Falls to 13.1% in Q3

In the third quarter of 2025, Morocco's unemployment rate decreased to 13.1%, compared to 13.6% during the same period the previous year. The number of unemployed individuals dropped by 54,000, bringing the total to 1.63 million, while employment rose with an addition of 167,000 jobs, reaching 10.83 million. Concurrently, the labor force expanded by 112,000, totaling 12.46 million. The unemployment rate among youth fell to 38.4% from 39.5%, among graduates decreased to 19.0% from 19.8%, and among men it reduced to 10.6% from 13.0%. In terms of sectors, the construction industry generated 90,000 new positions, the services sector created 94,000 jobs, and the industrial sector added 29,000 jobs. Conversely, there was a reduction of 47,000 jobs in agriculture, forestry, and fishing.
