This decrease followed a 6.1% reduction observed in September. Specific manufacturers experienced a downturn in output: Nissan fell by 17.4% to 58,115 units, Ford Motor dropped by 9.5% to 32,921 units, Honda decreased by 24.1% to 14,323 units, and Mazda suffered a 36.9% decline to 13,353 units. Conversely, production saw a rise for other automakers; General Motors boosted their output by 3% to 85,385 units, and Stellantis achieved a 13.7% increase to 36,597 units. Cumulatively from January to October, the total production amounted to 3.367 million units, representing a slight 0.8% decrease compared to the equivalent timeframe in 2024.
