FX.co ★ Mexico Auto Exports Fall in October

Car exports from Mexico experienced a year-on-year decline of 5.5%, totaling 314,227 units in October 2025, continuing a trend following a slight dip of 0.3% in September. Significant reductions were observed in exports from several major manufacturers: Volkswagen saw a decrease of 7.4% to 28,451 units; Nissan's exports plummeted by 52.6%, reaching 21,264 units; Honda experienced a downturn of 23.5% to 17,300 units; Audi's exports decreased by 9.6% to 15,711 units; and BMW Group suffered a 23.3% decline, with exports falling to 11,992 units. Cumulatively, for the year, auto exports witnessed an approximate 1.5% reduction, coming to a total of 2.881 million units.
