The year-on-year inflation rate in Kosovo accelerated for the third consecutive month, reaching 5.1% in October 2025. This marks the highest rate since April 2023, an increase from September's figure of 4.7%. Significant contributors to this rise included housing and utilities, which soared to 9.8% from the previous 6%; restaurants and hotels, which climbed to 8.7% from 8.1%; health services, which jumped to 7% from 5.3%; and alcoholic beverages and tobacco, which rose to 5.3% from 3.8%. Conversely, food and non-alcoholic beverages saw a slight decrease to 8% from 8.2%. On a month-to-month comparison, consumer prices increased by 0.6%, a rebound from the 0.2% decline observed in the preceding month.
