In September 2025, Hungary's industrial production saw a 1.3% increase compared to the previous year, recovering from a 7.3% decline in August and aligning with preliminary estimates. This marks the first instance of growth since March, spurred by a rise in production within key manufacturing sub-sectors, including computers, electronics, optical products, and wood, paper, and printing products. Nevertheless, there was a noted decrease in the production of vehicles and electrical equipment. On a seasonally adjusted monthly scale, industrial output rose by 1.3% from the prior month. Analyzing the period from January to September, industrial production remained 3.4% below the levels recorded in the same timeframe the previous year.
