In the third quarter of 2025, Cyprus's economy grew by 3.6% compared to the same period the previous year, maintaining the momentum from an upward adjustment in the prior quarter, according to preliminary estimates. This growth was bolstered by strong performances in several key sectors, including wholesale and retail trade, motor vehicle repair, information and communication, and the hospitality sector encompassing hotels and restaurants. When analyzed on a quarterly basis, the country's GDP rose by 0.7% in the third quarter, a slight ease from the 0.9% growth achieved in the previous quarter.
