In October 2025, Turkey saw a 4.3% increase in foreign visitors compared to the same month in the previous year, reaching a total of 5.68 million tourists. This followed a modest 0.5% rise experienced in the preceding month. Among the prominent source countries, visitor numbers rose from Russia (11.4%) and Germany (6.2%). However, there was a decline in tourists from Iran (-4.6%), the UK (-3.8%), and Bulgaria (-1.8%). Antalya remained the top destination, attracting 37.2% of all international travelers, with Istanbul and Mugla following at 32.7% and 6.9%, respectively. For the January to September timeframe, overall foreign entries showed a slight decline of 0.1% compared to the previous year, totaling 47.25 million.
