In October, Taiwan experienced a slight decrease in its seasonally adjusted unemployment rate, which dropped to 3.33% from September's 3.35%. The number of unemployed individuals decreased by 3,000, bringing the total to 404,000. Concurrently, total employment saw an increase of 5,000, reaching 11.64 million. For the youth demographic aged 20–24, the unemployment rate decreased marginally to 11.81% from 12.01%. Additionally, there was a small uptick in the labor force participation rate, rising to 59.54% compared to 59.51% the previous month.
