European Markets Set for Higher Open

European equity markets were set for a stronger opening on Wednesday, driven by a more positive global risk sentiment, buoyed by anticipations of further interest rate cuts by the US Federal Reserve. Investors are now looking ahead to upcoming US employment and inflation data for more insights into the monetary policy trajectory. In Europe, focus remains on the crucial US-Russia discussions aimed at resolving the conflict in Ukraine, although the latest meetings have yet to yield any significant progress. Moscow acknowledged that no agreement was reached on the main territorial issues. In premarket activity, Euro Stoxx 50 futures advanced 0.3% while Stoxx 600 futures edged up 0.2%.
