In November 2025, Switzerland's unemployment rate, not adjusted for seasonal variations, remained steady at 2.9%, marking its highest point since March. The number of unemployed individuals rose by 3,600 from the previous month, reaching a total of 138,900, the highest in four and a half years. Concurrently, the unemployment rate among youth aged 15 to 24 held at 3.1%, with the number of unemployed youth decreasing slightly by 70 to 13,400. Additionally, reported job vacancies saw a decline of 2,300, bringing the total to 32,700. When adjusted for seasonal factors, the unemployment rate remained constant at 3.0% for the third consecutive month.
