In the third quarter of 2025, North Macedonia saw a decline in its unemployment rate, which fell to 11.5%, a decrease from 12.3% in the same period of the previous year. The count of unemployed individuals dropped by 6.7% on an annual basis, amounting to 91.8 thousand. Concurrently, employment saw an increase, climbing to 46.5% from 46.1%, as the number of employed people grew by 6.8 thousand, reaching a total of 705.2 thousand. The labor force participation rate slightly decreased to 52.5% from 52.6% the previous year. Notably, the unemployment rate remained stable at 11.5%, unchanged from the second quarter of 2025.
