In November 2025, Lithuania experienced a slight decrease in its annual inflation rate, which fell to 3.8% from a six-month peak of 4.1% recorded in October. This marks the lowest inflation since July, driven by a deceleration in price increases across several sectors. Specifically, there was a notable moderation in prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages (declining to 4.3% from 5.1% in the previous month), housing and utilities (falling to 1.4% from 2%), alcoholic beverages and tobacco (down to 7.8% from 8.4%), health (decreasing to 4.1% from 4.9%), communication (slipping to 3.4% from 3.5%), education (reducing to 3.7% from 4%), and restaurants and hotels (dropping to 6.2% from 6.7%). Conversely, transport costs saw an accelerated increase (rising to 2.7% from 2.6%), as did costs associated with furnishings, household equipment, and routine household maintenance (increasing to 1% from 0.7%). Additionally, recreation and culture (up to 5.9% from 5.8%) and miscellaneous goods and services (growing to 4% from 2.6%) also experienced faster price growth. Meanwhile, the apparel sector saw a reversal, with clothing and footwear prices rebounding marginally to 0.2% from a decline of -0.6%. On a month-to-month basis, consumer prices ticked up, registering a 0.4% increase from October's 0.2% rise.
