In November 2025, Mexico experienced an 8.4% year-on-year decline in car production, registering a total of 322,205 vehicles and further intensifying the 3.7% decrease recorded in October. Notably, Honda saw a significant reduction in output, plummeting 76.4% to 4,085 units. Other automakers also faced declines, with Mazda down 33.4% to 12,574 units, Nissan decreasing 17.6% to 50,052, and General Motors falling 13.1% to 75,121 units. KIA and Toyota experienced smaller contractions, with production slipping 3.6% to 24,000 and 2.5% to 24,204 units, respectively. Conversely, some manufacturers recorded improvements: Ford increased its output by 22% to 34,484 units, Volkswagen grew by 13% to 33,056 units, and Stellantis experienced a modest rise of 2.1% to 35,587 units. Over the period from January to November, overall production reached 3.71 million units, representing a 1.5% decrease from the corresponding timeframe in 2024.
