Russia Inflation Rate Lowest since 2023

In November 2025, Russia's annual inflation rate decreased to 6.6%, down from 7.7% in October, marking the lowest level since September 2023 and falling short of market projections of 6.7%. There was a deceleration in price increases across various categories: food prices rose by 7.5% compared to 9.3% previously, non-food items saw a price increase of 3.5% down from 3.8%, and service costs went up by 9.4%, decreasing from 10.4%. The central bank projects inflation for the year to stabilize between 6.5% and 7%, following a rate of 9.52% last year. President Vladimir Putin has stated that inflation is expected to be around or below 6% by year's end. On a month-to-month basis, consumer prices experienced a 0.4% rise, following a 0.5% increase in October.
