In December 2025, the business confidence indicator in the Czech Republic fell by 1.9 points to 98, down from 99.9 in the previous month. This represents the lowest level since April, as sentiment within the industry sector declined to an eight-month low of 91.2, compared to 95.5 in November. The trade sector's outlook also continued to weaken, slipping to 96.4 from 97.0, while optimism in selected services dropped to 103.1 from 105.6. In contrast, confidence in the construction sector improved, rising to 117.6 from 114.1 in November.
