In the third quarter of 2025, Croatia experienced a reduction in its current account surplus, which fell to €3,931 million from €4,648 million in the same quarter of the previous year. The services surplus decreased slightly to €8,905 million, down from €9,041 million. On the other hand, deficits in both goods and primary income grew, reaching €4,882 million from the previous €4,580 million, and €821 million compared to €399 million, respectively. Nevertheless, the secondary income surplus showed an improvement, rising to €729 million from €586 million. Over the first three quarters of 2025, Croatia recorded a current account deficit of €1,285 million, contrasting with a surplus of €260 million over the same period in 2024.
