The unemployment rate in Greece, adjusted for seasonal variations, decreased to 8.2% in November 2025. This is the lowest it has been since November 2008 and represents a drop from the 8.6% rate recorded in the previous month. The number of unemployed individuals decreased by approximately 13,900 compared to the previous month, totaling 395,400. Additionally, employment saw an uptick with 38,600 more individuals bringing the total employed to 4.4 million. Furthermore, the number of individuals outside the labor force, specifically those below 75 years of age who are neither working nor actively seeking employment, reduced by 27,000 to reach 2.937 million.
