Industrial production in Slovenia experienced a 0.9% year-on-year decline in November 2025, succeeding a downwardly revised 3.0% decrease in the prior month. This marks the fourth consecutive month of reduced industrial activity. There was a significant drop in output within the electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply sector, which fell by 7.1%, contrasting with a stable performance in October. Manufacturing output continued its downward trend, although at a less severe rate of 0.5% compared to a 3.1% decline previously observed. However, this overall downturn was partially mitigated by a recovery in mining and quarrying, which grew by 5.3%, reversing a 2.0% drop. For the year to date, industrial production was 1.5% lower than in the same period of the previous year. On a month-to-month basis, industrial activity saw a slight increase of 0.3% in November, after remaining unchanged in October.
