Belarus experienced a 1.8% decrease in industrial production in 2025 compared to the previous year, the first decline since 2022. This contrasts with the 5.4% growth recorded in 2024. Manufacturing output decreased by 2.5%, while the sectors of water supply, waste management, and remediation activities showed little change. Conversely, the mining and quarrying sector saw a production increase of 2.7%, and the electricity, gas, hot water, and conditioning supply sector grew by 1.7%.
