China’s economy grew at a rate of 4.5% year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2025, a slight deceleration from the 4.8% growth observed in the third quarter, and the slowest rate recorded in three years. Nonetheless, this figure marginally surpassed market projections of 4.4% growth. Consequently, the annual growth rate reached 5%, aligning with Beijing's target of approximately 5% and equaling the growth rate achieved in 2024.
